FreePBX VoiP

FreePBX is a web-based open source GUI (graphical user interface) that controls and manages Asterisk® (PBX), an open source voice over IP server. FreePBX is licensed under the GNU General Public License, an open source license. FreePBX can be installed manually or as part of a pre-configured FreePBX Distro that includes the system OS, Asterisk, FreePBX GUI and assorted dependencies.

The FreePBX EcoSystem has developed over the past decade to be the most widely deployed Open Source PBX platform in use across the world today. The openness of the project allows users, resellers, enthusiasts and partners to utilize the FreePBX EcoSystem to build robust communications solutions that are powerful but at the same time easy to implement and support.

FreePBX is easy to customize and adapt to the changing needs. FreePBX can run in the cloud or on-site, and is currently being used to manage communications of all sizes and types of environments from small one person SOHO (small office, home office) businesses, to multi-location corporations and call centers.

You can download FreePBX here.

If you want to try out FreePBX you can simply download the installer listed above and configure it to your requirements.  This is the cheapest route but whilst not difficult does involve installation and configuration and a reasonable level of technical know-how.

A far simpler option is to try our pre-configured downloadable virtual image.  Everything you need to get up and running including a single DID and test credit.  Support provided by us should you run into problems.

If you have a mobile phone number but want call management, redirect to your VoIP number.  Using, for example, Group calling you can have the number ring on multiple extensions plus your mobile phone if required.

Want to provide a menu to callers and route to an extension, voicemail or a mobile phone.  Set-up IVR and provide callers with a virtual switchboard.

These and many more sophisticated call features are available with FreePBX.
