These were likely high-end office computers at one time that have now been retired to make way for whatever the latest now is. We rebuild and configure them to be used again by people who just don’t need the latest power.
Often these machines have an associated Microsoft Windows licence but we recommend using Linux as it’s just so much easier and when configured right, far less hungry on computer resources. But if it does that’ll be included at no extra charge.
