Administration Dashboard

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text font_size=”16″]The main Dashboard panel is shown to the right.  This is customizable and allows you to have a single point to monitor your telephony system.

Across the top are a series of drop down menus providing links to other modules.  This is how you typically administer the system and set-up your users.

It is advisable to proceed with caution as it is fairly easy to both compromise your security and break your setup if you’re not familiar with how it works.

Make sure you do full backups and make sure you only allow access to those that require it.  The internet contains numerous documents on securing your system so it won’t be covered here; else leave that to us.

One point to note: if you have an internet facing system you will get ‘hack’ attempts, that just the way it is.  Security can’t be understated but there are numerous methods to counter this (to a degree) but this will not be covered here as it’s a complete subject in itself.
